Greener grass on the other side. We have all heard, seen or experienced this saying at some point in our lives. What does it really mean? And who came up with it? And is it true?
My interpretation of “The grass is greener on the other side” is an illusion based on the lifestyle, job, family or status on display that the other side seems to be flourishing, succeeding and doing much better that than the viewer.
Firstly it is all about an individual’s mindset because a person with high self esteem, well-grounded, hard-working, and ambitious with aspirations; to always do your best regarding achieving your highest goals will not have the time and the energy to look at another person’s grass and compare it. Secondly a grounded individual would be aware that for anything to grow it needs love, time, energy, hard work and attention.
Thirdly; when viewing other persons lives, circumstances, jobs or families there are plenty pieces to the puzzle that will not be known to you in order to make an accurate assessment of that person. Fourthly; we should by no means compare our lives to others because we are not aware of how this individual arrived at this white picket fence outlook; at times individuals sell their souls for riches and status.
Fifthly; we should be completely focus on improving our lives, in times of life struggles we should stay focus, be grateful that our situation could be worst and continue persevere.
In conclusion I am here to tell you despite your circumstance at this present moment; change is on its way, breakthroughs are coming your way and victory will be yours. We all have bad grass at some point in our lives however we need to remain focus on our lives aka our grass; continue to put forth efforts to improve your life, your job and your family. Shut out the noise of the world. Try to be your best for YOU not them. Adjust your lens on the way you view life and others; start self competition. Remember all that glitters is not gold!
Thank you my fellow readers and supporters! It is because of your support I am able to push through. Hope the above thoughts have helped someone in some way. I would love to hear your experiences, thoughts and feedback regarding this article. Peace and Blessings

I really appreciate this post. The truth is the grass isn’t always greener on the other side but while you work towards making the grass on your side greener, appreciate what you already have.
In this day and age many people look at what others have and not at what’s smack dead in front of them. Ww need to believe in ourselves and appreciate what we have and our grass will always be green and greener in our eyes. Which at the end of the day is what really matters.
