Self control is the ability to manage one’s emotion and desires or expression of them in one’s behavior amidst challenging situations.

    Great reminder. It is true – if one can control one’s thoughts then one’s wellbeing is greatly improved. Self control can be stressful in itself because it can lead to the suppression of the raw emotion at the time. In the end one is more rational in the moment however the raw emotion leads to an internal battle that may manifest into things like the lack of sleep, high blood pressure and anxiety etc. So as you said stress management is key!
