I attended an event called “Food, Wine & Fete” last weekend and I am here to share my experience with my beloveds. I have attended several Food & Wine festivals before where the expectations are quite straight forward. These events usually showcase an array of local foods from all over the world prepared in various forms, wines and beverages perfectly paired with specific dishes. Renowned chefs displaying their unique culinary techniques and sharing secret spices and ingredients during their demos. New and existing restaurants distributing samples of their most popular dishes and sharing a little of their background. And lots of giveaways, trinkets and gift bags

However the difference with this event – Food, Wine & Fete was there was a Caribbean flavor added; with a refreshing cozy vibe. There was a few vendors that took customers very little trekking to get to all of them and sample their foods; the aroma of the foods would lead you while the flavors were divine, the chefs did their demos with such excitement for a moment there I was not sure during their animated descriptions they were still speaking about food. There were several DJs jamming the whole event so while munching you could also catch a wine. There was vibrant entertainment with popular Caribbean artists and most importantly the lines for drinks, food and bathroom were short and moving swiftly.

I never anticipated how much fun I would have; I met so many beautiful souls and I was able to get up close and personal with a few chefs; they were so warm and open. The food quality was immaculate, the location was cozy, the availability and access to food and drink was seamless. The fete part was lit!! Side note: anything that has “fete” at the end the Caribbean folks know what time it is. Hats off to the organizers for a successful event. If your travel itinerary leads you to South Florida during the month of May and you would love to attend; you can follow the organizer on IG “Foodwineandfete” to get the details for next year event. As for me I will surely be there next year God’s spear.

I hope my experience has convinced you that you need to visit to create your own. Thank you beloveds for your continued love and support. Love n Light xoxo
